Are you passionate about supporting young people with complex needs to thrive and achieve their
potential? Newark Orchard School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and innovative
Teaching Assistant to join our team 3 days per week, to meet the needs of the school.
We are a thriving special school committed to providing outstanding education for children and
young people aged 3-18 with a range of complex needs, including severe learning disabilities (SLD),
profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). We take
a trauma-informed, relational approach to education, ensuring that every student feels safe, valued

relationships with students, helping them feel confident and supported in their learning journey and
aligned with our school values.
