Newark Orchard School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic personal care assistant to join
our team part-time. If you are passionate about supporting young people with complex needs to
thrive and achieve their potential, this role could be for you!
We are looking for a personal care assistant who enjoys working as part of a team to support
students with their individualised personal care plans and shares our school values, with a
commitment to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment. Experience of working with
children and young people with SEND is desirable. However, it is essential you can build positive
relationships, are eager to learn, demonstrate patience, empathy and resilience, being self reflective and adapting practices to meet the unique needs of each child.
Working hours will be 20 per week, Monday to Friday 9.20am to 1.20pm, term time only.
